Upgrade MVC2 to MVC3

Apr 26, 2011 at 12:20 AM

We have not yet attempted to upgrade from MVC2 to MVC3.  It will happen.  Will this project be upgraded?  If so, any timeline?

I've successfully upgraded the project to MVC 3.0 if you are still interested by any chance.

Thanks

I might be months late on this, but I'd like to hear how you did that, as I'm trying myself to convert it to MVC3.

Thanks!

Opened up in VS2012 and migrated...cant recall any additional steps.

I can upload my solution?

I guess you got lucky! It was telling me there was an issue with the .csproj....turns out it and a few other files were set to 'Read Only' which were messing it up. Found that out using an MVC2 to MVC3 conversion application here. http://aspnet.codeplex.com/releases/view/59008 Seems to be working so far!
